Wall Formwork

Wall formwork is a temporary structure used to shape and support concrete walls until the concrete hardens and gains enough strength to support itself. It is used to create vertical concrete structures such as walls, columns or shafts. The formwork consists of panels (Frami) which form the wall’s surface as well as propping, ties, and braces to ensure stability during pouring and curing of the concrete. Formwork ensures the concrete is cast to the correct dimensions, shape, and alignment as specified in the design, providing structural integrity and architectural aesthetics to the building. The formation of horizontal structures can be similarly achieved through slab formwork.
