MU Towers
ProppingDesigned in-house by our highly experienced engineers, this system is unique to the UK market and is extremely heavy duty, with our Mabey Universal Towers capable of supporting loads of up to 8000kN and functioning as free-standing towers.
Perfectly suited to extremely heavy duty propping projects, this system has been used on some of the biggest propping projects in the UK, for example the construction of the Mersey Gateway Bridge in Merseyside which was opened in 2017.
Our MU Tower system is made up of a small number of components, meaning that a large section of the tower can be built extremely quickly. The tower can be erected in situ or as separate sections on the ground and lifted in by crane.
