Monitoring Bridge Performance and Bearing Condition
Displacement sensors are positioned under a bridge deck to monitor the effect on its structural integrity with different loads. These sensors can also monitor bridge bearings and produce real-time data to help identify the urgency of required maintenance, repair or replacement.
Precision Lifting for Safe Bearing Replacement
Hydraulic jacks are used to lift a bridge vertically in order to replace the bearings. The loads on the jacks are continually monitored, ensuring that the propping force is controlled.
